This Friday, May 14th (7:30am EST) our co-founders Terry Kim & Jacob Hess will be on National TV! We will be telling our mission on the Military Makeover show with Montel Williams on the Lifetime Network! Military Makeover is a show dedicated to highlighting inspiring military veterans as they return home from service and adjust to civilian life.
Highlighting the potential of military veterans has always been a core belief at NexGenT. We will be sharing how after returning home from service Terry & Jacob wanted to implement what they had learned in the military and set out to democratize education while changing one million lives by 2030. NexGenT training is built on the concept of getting young adults who join the military field ready in four to six months. During the condensed timeline, it is mission-critical to focus on building real-world skills that could help save lives in the field. We believe that the current education system does not provide real-world job readiness training for new talent to come into the workforce and hit the ground running. Our big mission is to get people out of these low-wage income jobs and help them build amazing careers in Information Technology.
What makes our Zero to Engineer program different from other online training or any type of training program really, is that we have an approach of being mentor-led and real-world skills focused. So our students are doing projects and not just knocking out certifications.
